The Certificate of Death listed his last name both as Mroshinskie and Morinski. He died in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. His death certificate listed him as a silkworker. The cause of death was listed as cerebral thrombosis, a month from onset to death. Andy never married. He played the organ and directed the choir at the family's long-time Catholic church, Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Pa. He lived in a small apartment in Bethlehem. He was buried in the Holy Ghost Cemetery. He was a talented musician, teaching and playing music in Bethlehem. He died on Friday, May 18, 1951. The Downing & Son Funeral Home, 202 W. Broad, Bethlehem, Pa., conducted the funeral.

According to a letter written to Mary Moroshinskie after the death of her husband Matthew, John A. Mroshinskie, brother to Andrew, wrote that after Matthew and his wife moved to Poland c1923, Andrew quit talking to his brother John, and Andrew changed his last name to Morinski. Funeral services for Andrew J. Morinski, 502 Second Avenue, Bethlehem, Pa., were held this morning from the Downing Funeral Home with mass celebrated in Holy Ghost Church by the Reverend Reginald S. Billinger. Burial was in Holy Ghost Cemetery with the Rev. Scott A. Fasig giving the blessing at the grave. Pallbearers were Harry Herman, Francis Mroshinskie, John Mroshinskie, Edward Kohlmen, John Gottwald, and Grant Cole.

Note: Father Billinger was a long-time family friend of the Mroshinskie family.
