of Fond du Lac on Highway #23 that was referred to as the Plank Road in the
early part of the 20th Century as it was made of wooden planks.

REITZ----Christian Reitz, a pioneer resident of the town of Forest, died at the family home at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening, aged 76 years. He is survived by four children, two sons, George and Charles, and two daughters, Louise and Emma. He is also
survived by four brothers, Henry, Jacob, Joseph and George, and by five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at St. Paul's church in Forest, Rev. Hensel officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
