Funeral Services for Third Street Resident to be Held Wednesday

Mrs. Flora Mae Brown, 55 years of age, the wife of Mr. Guy Brown, died Sunday morning at 10:15 o'clock at her home 717 west Third Street. She had been ill since September, death being attributed to bronchial pneumonia.

Mrs. Brown was born at Columbus, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bishop. She was married to Mr. Brown, a contracting carpenter, 35 years ago and had lived in Madison since that time. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Baptist church. She is survived by her husband, three children, Mrs. Herbert Davis, of Lonesome Hollow, Mrs. Joseph Guerich, and Mr. Joseph Brown, both of this city; seven grandchildren, and two brothers, George Bishop, of New Albany, and Ed Bishop of Columbus.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the residence with Rev. B. T. Vincent in charge. Burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.
