Levi Huffman Keener, 79, of Sutton, died Thursday in the Sutton General Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired merchant. Surviving are two sons, Golden C. of Weston and Day F. of Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Phillips and Mrs. Mabel Young, both of Gassaway, and Mrs. Anna May McCartney of Sutton; two brothers, Hamp of Bergoo and Charles K. of Frametown; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Bower of Akron O.; and Mrs. Verna Anderson of Weston; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Service was at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Marple Funeral Home chapel of Sutton with Rev. Carl Dodrill and Rev. Dennis Ketchem officiating. Burial was in Sutton Cemetery.
