Delores Bales, 78, of Chattanooga, Tn. passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.
She was born in Bristol, Va., and had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area.
She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance Co.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bales; and her parents, Carmalo and Irene Romano.
Survivors are a granddaughter, Karen Lewis, of Oklahoma; nephew, Milton Hamlin, of Florida; and special caregiver, Barbara Craft.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. today (Friday) at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Ferguson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. today at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassion and care.
