Johnston, March 1. — Mrs. S. G. MobIey died at her home here yesterday after five days illness from pneumonia.
The town and community is in deep sorrow over the passing of this noble Christian woman. She was beloved by every one for she was of a sweet and gentle disposition and of many beautiful traits of character and of Christian graces.
Mrs. Mobley was one of the most faithful members of the Baptist church and Woman's Missionary society.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Mrs. Eugene McAlpine and Goode Mobley of Hartsville; three sisters, Mrs. Lucia C. Latimer, Mrs. W. S. Mobley and Miss Sara Carwile of this place, and one brother, Will Carwile.
