Loris, Jan. 3 - Harvey Wright Fowler, 57, farmer and church leader of the Mt. Zion section of Horry County died in a Loris Hospital early today.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. G. Clyde Prince, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the Rev. F.B. Haynes, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Loris, the Rev. K.W. Bedenbaugh, pastor of Loris Methodist Church and the Rev. P.B. McLeod, pastor of Iona Methodist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Hardwich Funeral Home of Loris.
Mr. Fowler was born in Horry County, Aug. 8, 1899, a son of the Late George Monroe and Cora Jane Stanley Fowler. He was a member and former Sunday school teacher of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a trustee of the Loris Grammar school for the past 5 years.
