COLUMBIA — Estelle F. Auld, 77, wife of James W. Auld, died March 13, 2005, after a sudden illness. Born in Horry County at Loris, to Harvey and Gwendolyn Fowler, she grew up near Loris and moved to Columbia at the end of WW II. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Laurie Auld of Franklin, N.C., Warren and Joan Auld of Snellville, Ga., Steven and Patty Auld of Columbia, Thomas and Jane Auld of Falls Church, Va., and James and Donna Auld of Columbia; brothers, Buddy Fowler of Loris, Frank Fowler of Atlanta, Ga., Everette Fowler of Loris and Gilbert Fowler of Florence; and ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, L.H. Fowler and sister, Gladys Fowler.
