George Egle, 83, who had settled here 43 years ago after emigrating here from Wuertemberg, Ober-Schwaben, a formerly busy lock smith and gun smith, passed away. He was well-known for his honesty and had not a bad word said about him. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Meinhardt and this morning his funeral was held from St. Henry's Church. Two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Meinhardt and Mrs. Anna Roth, survive him. Another daughter passed away a few weeks ago and he was able to attend her funeral.
