Galivants Ferry, Louise Sellers Floyd, age 86, wife of the late Cecil C. Floyd of Pee Dee Hwy South, died Oct. 14, 2004 at Marion Medical Center. Mrs. Floyd was born in Marion Co, a daughter of the late Zebulon V. & Charlotte Meggs Sellers. She was a member of Pisgah UMC, United Meth. Women, former Sunday School teacher, former financial sec. & treasurer & helped with many offices in the church. Mrs Floyd was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Aynor chapter 279. She was predeceased by 3 sons: Cecil "Buddy" Floyd, R. Bradley "Ted" Floyd, & Richard "Dickie" Floyd. Surviving is one son, Larry (Marlyn) Floyd of Aynor; a daughter, June F. (Bobby) Martin of Marion; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren & a foster son, Edward "Bubba" Jordan of Conway, SC & many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services were held at Pisgah UMC with Rev. Henry Altman, Rev. Tom Williams & Rev. Tom Rogers officiating. Burial was in church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home.
