Mrs. Stella L. Bennett, 73, 807 W. Third St., died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was a native of Madison, and had retried in 1977 from the Madison State Hospital food service department after 23 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Emma Jean Montgomery, Madison; and Mrs. Mary Lou Hill, Madison; one sisters, Mrs. Mary Schuck, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Vail-Holt Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. today.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Lung Association.
