Abraham Atticks, one of Steelton's oldest and respected citizens, died at his residence, 412 North Front Street, last evening at 5 o'clock from paralysis after being confined to his room for nine years. He was well known in this place, having resided here and in this vicinity for many years. He is survived by a wife, one son, Robert Atticks, and two daughters, Mrs. Edward McCord and Mrs. Jacob Weltmer, of this place. He was a prominent member of Sergeant Samuel W. Lascomb Post, 351, G. A. R., of this place and was a veteran of the Civil War. He had a large circle of friends. No arrangements as yet have been made for the funeral.

HUSBAND AND WIFE DIE
Abraham Atticks, of 412 North Front Street, Steelton, died last evening at 1 o'clock of pneumonia. This afternoon at 1 o'clock his wife died from the same disease. They will probably be buried at the same time on Tuesday. Four children survive.
