Buried alive when a ton of carbonated soda crashed down on him at the Solvay Process Company's plant yesterday. Alexander Krupa, 38, 1013 Emerson Ave., was dead when
his body was recovered by fellow workermen ten minutes later.
His wife, Mrs. Antonina and seven children survive him. The children, whose ages range from 2 to 13, are Sophie, Leo, John, Chester, Frank, Henry and Alfonese. A brother, Anthony Krupa of Superior, Wis., survives also.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 8:30 Monday morning and a half hour later at the Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
