Mrs. Antoinette (Antonina) Krupa [nee Korsuboski], 89, of 207 Matty Ave. died Wednesday at her home.
A native of Poland, Mrs. Krupa resided most of her life in Syracuse.
Her husband, Frank, died in 1951. Mrs. Krupa was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of its Rosary Society. She was also a member of the St. Albert's Society,
Polish Roman Catholic Union and the auxiliary of Post 14, Polish Legion of American Veterans.
She was a Gold Star Mother.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dwyer, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Sophie Baniewicz; two sons, John J. and Frank J.; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home and 8:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Monsignor Adolph A. Kantor. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1320 W. Genesee St.

According to the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Antonina Krupa and her husband Alex were both 38 years old. Alex immigrated to the U.S. in 1908. His occupation was yard man in a dye works. Their oldest two children, daughter Sophia, 10 years old and son Leo, 8, were both born in Poland about 1910 and 1912, respectively. Antonia, Sophia and Leo immigrated to the U.S. in 1913.
Immigration records show that Alexander Krupa, married to Antonina Krupa immigrated to the U.S. on April 9, 1909. It appears that he traveled back and forth between Poland and the U.S. until he could bring his wife and two children to join him in the states.
