Nelse Addison Sr., 71, died at his home, 913 East Capitol avenue, last night after suffering a heart attack.

A resident here for the last 44 years, he was born Feb. 26, 1879 at Cape Girardeau. He was married to Elsie Wagner Oct. 6, 1915 in St. Louis. She died in 1946. His second marriage was to Vera Ruwart June 1, 1946.

Addison was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Employees, Local 443, and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
