Rosemary Nixon 97 of Jefferson City died Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Bethesda Dilworth Nnrsing Home in St Louis. She was born September 8, 1915 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Nelse and Elsie Elizabeth (Wagner) Addison. She attended Moreau Heights Elementary School and was a 1933 graduate of Jefferson City High School.

On June 2, 1936 Rosemary was united in marriage in Jefferson City to William E. Nixon who preceded her in death on January 12, 1992.

Rosemary was a member of First Christian Church and had been an active member of the Ruth Circle there. Sh had a volunteer at Memorial Community and Charles E. Still Hospitals. and was also served on the Senior Citizen's Council. Rosemary was an active member of the Jefferson City Public Schools Alumni Association Class of 1933.



She is survived by three children, Steven W. Nixon and wife Rama of Webster Groves Mo. Judith F. Burnside of Hamel Il. Patricia E. Myers and huaband Robert of Worthington, Ohio' six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Addison and Nelse Addison Jr. and one grandson, Michael D. Wenkle.

Friens will be received from 10-11a.m. Saturday November10, 2012 at the Houser Millard Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. with Rev. Donald Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's foundation of America or a charity of the Donor's choice.
