Helen P. Bailey, age 87, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Union General Hospital. Born August 19, 1924 to the late William S. and Ella Dunn Patterson. A member of the Cherry Log Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by husband Tom F. Bailey in 2006, and an infant daughter.
Survived by: son, Tommy Bailey (of the home) Blue Ridge, daughters and spouses, Bernice & Hugh McClure of Blue Ridge, Barbara & Frank Martin of Jasper,GA. Brenda Sue & Chuck Ohanian of Canton,GA, Judy & Clayton Ramsey of Blue Ridge, brother Calvin Patterson of Atlanta, Ga, sisters Arlean Campbell and Flora Mae Rogers, of Blue Ridge, grandchildren, Dennis & Tesa McClure of Crystal River, FL, Chad & Carol McClure of Blue Ridge, Stephanie & Jeff Rickman of Jasper,GA, Caleb and Nick Ramsey of Blue Ridge, great-grandchildren Tanner, Peyton, & Aubree McClure.
Funeral services will take place Friday November 25, 2011 at 11:00am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home chapel, with Reverend Ray Potts officiating. Interment will take place in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Dennis McClure, Peyton McClure, Tanner McClure, Caleb Ramsey, Jeff Rickman, and Joe Ballew.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the funeral home. Y
