Patterson was a swimming pool installer and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Cumming, Ga. He was the son of the late William and Ella Dunn Patterson and a native of Fannin County, Ga.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Christopher of Canton, Jeannie Burgess of Alpharetta, Laura Zimmerman of Alpharetta, Tina Burns of Woodstock; son, Clyde Patterson Jr. of Canton; sisters, Marie Ballew of Ducktown,Tn., Helen Bailey, Arlean Campbell and Flora Mae Rogers, all of Blue Ridge; brothers, Lake Patterson of Blue Ridge, Leslie Patterson of Cumming, Ga., Calvin Patterson of Atlanta; and seven grandchildren.
