Elvera Becker Walker, 43, of Tifton died on Saturday, May 30, 1965, at Tift County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 1965, at Saint Anne's Episcopal Church. Father Barbour will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. William R. Wells, Allen L. Brinkley, E. T. Harrinton, C. H. Wollert, Bobby Malcolm and Bobby Copeland will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the State Highway Office.

Mrs. Walker was born on December 8, 1921 in Louisburg, Kansas and was the oldest daughter of the late Charles Edgar Becker and Margie Smith Becker of Louisburg, Kansas. She was employed with the State Highway Department for 17 years and was a member of Saint Anne's Episcopal Church in Tifton. She had lived in Tifton since 1946.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband Ollie M. Walker, whom she married on November 7, 1944; and two sisters, Mrs. Howard Purvis of Louisburg, Kansas and Mrs. Freddie Orenstein of Queens, New York.
