Perry Davis, age 77, of Mena, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Mena.

He was born July 6, 1934 in Howard County, Arkansas to the late Jewell Davis and the late Hester Tollett Davis. He was united in marriage September 17, 1954 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Nona Fountain. Mr. Davis was a logger by profession but his passion was for music. Perry had a God given talent to play numerous musical instruments.

He was of the Pentecostal faith and a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.

Survivors are:

Sons: Mark Davis and wife Mary of Cove, Arkansas David Davis and wife Tami of Siloam Springs, Arkansas Daniel Davis of Mena, Arkansas

Daughters: Brenda Andrews and husband Rick of Mena, Arkansas Karen Shoults and husband David of Mena, Arkansas Carla Nichols and husband Bill of Star City, Arkansas Pam Neblick and husband Freddy of Charleston, Arkansas

Brothers: Bill Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma Larry Davis of Cove, Arkansas

25 Grandchildren 30 Great Grandchildren And a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Hester Davis, his son, Terry Davis and his brothers, Gene Davis and Glen Davis.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cove Revival Center with Reverend Paul Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
