OF GALENA IS DEAD.
Galena, Kan., March 17. — Funeral services for David M. Jenkins, 70 years old, pioneer resident of Galena, who died at 12:30 o'clock Monday morning will be held from the residence in the south part of town by the Rev. Elmer Wade at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with burial in Galena cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Salina county, Illinois, and had been a resident of Galena for fifty years.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Martha Love; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Shira, and five children: Walter and Floyd Jenkins, Fay and Myrtle Allgood and Beatrice Jenkins.
