Galena, Kan., July 1. — Mrs. Martha Love Jenkins, 96 years old, died at 9:40 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Shira, a mile west of Galena. Mrs. Jenkins was an old-time resident here, coming here in 1875.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son, Peter Jenkins, Rosa, Ark.; several grand children and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Lizzie Shira at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning with the Rev. Roy Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Galena cemetery

Galena, Kan., July 1.—Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Love Jenkins, 96 years old, resident of Galena more than fifty years, who died at 9:40 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Shira, a mile west of Galena, will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the Shira residence with the Rev. Roy Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Galena cemetery.

Mrs. Jenkins came to Galena in 1875. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son, Peter Jenkins of Rosa, Ark., several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
