Born June 13, 1927 in Hatfield, she was a daughter of the late James and Mabel (Haberle) Renner.
Mrs. Kratz was a devoted wife and mother and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, and crocheting. She was a very kind and compassionate person willing to help anyone whenever there was a need.
She was very active in the Lower Skippack Mennonite Church where she belonged to the ladies quilting group, Christian Helpers Class, and Willing Workers Society. Mrs. Kratz was a life-time member of the Skippack Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary where she also served as president.
Surviving were two sons, Gary R. Kratz and his wife, Gale, of Skippack, and Laverne L. Kratz and his wife, Lori, of Worcester; five grandchildren, Tami Wilson, and Tracy, Josh, Melissa, and Jenna Kratz; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Grace R. Bean.
Her Funeral Service was held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Lower Skippack Mennonite Church, Skippack, PA. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
