Bernice had eight siblings who survived into adulthood; Harriet Alice, Robert Elijah, Marguerite Elizabeth, Rosemarie "Rosie", Charles Philip, Ann E. "Annie", Eugene Francis, and William Joseph Conklin. She had another brother, also named William Joseph Conklin, who was born and passed sometime before 1946.
Bernice first married Roy Bulson, with whom she had three daughters; Nancy N., Cheryl, and Rosie Bulson.
Bernice's second marriage was to Anton Siegmund, with whom she had two more children; Lisa, and Anton Siegmund Jr.
Bernice passed away November 15, 2011 in Cornwall, Orange, New York. She was buried in Airmont Lutheran Cemetery in Suffern, Rockland, New York.

She was predeceased by two children, Cheryl Bulson and Anton Siegmund Jr.
Bernice's funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Scarr Funeral Home Inc., Route 202, Suffern.
Burial will follow at Airmont Cemetery in Airmont.
