Mrs. Ruth Jeanette ALDERFER, 73, Akron, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at her home following a three-week illness. Mrs. Alderfer was born April 22, 1903 in Fulton county to Fred and Grace TROXEL AULT and had lived in Akron six years moving there from Mentone. She married Carl M. ALDERFER, June 12, 1920 in Rochester; he survives. She was a member of the Rochester United Brethren church. Surviving are seven sons, Fredrick and Myron [ALDERFER], Rochester; Earl [ALDERFER], Fort Wayne; Merle [ALDERFER], Laketon; Clyde [ALDERFER], Mentone; Howard [ALDERFER], Warsaw; Wayne [ALDERFER], Cromwell; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie ARMSTRONG, Mexico; Mrs. Mary BRUCE, Laketon; Mrs. Ruby THOMPSON, Claypool; Mrs. Phyllis LARUE, Mentone; two brothers, Everett and Guy AULT, Rochester; thirty-seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. One son preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sheetz funeral home, Akron, with the Rev. Claude FAWNS officiating. Burial will be at the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday.
