Eastman - Billy Joe "B.J." died Friday in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

He was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. He was a member of the Cottondale Baptist Church, A retired Civil Service employee of Warner Robins Air Force and an employee of B&W Air. He was a son of the late David Williams and Kate Braswell Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Esthew W. Williams, Eastman; three daughters, Cindi Williams-Lewis, Claxton, Ginger Jones and Katrina Yawn, both of Eastman; one son, Billy J. Williams, Jr., Augusta; one sister, Betty J. Williams, Eastman; two brothers, Robert Williams and J.D. Williams, both of Eastmen; his mother-in-law, Mabel W. Cassidy, Plainfield; three grandchildren, Michelle Thompson, Nicholas Jones and Brandon Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and may be contacted at the Williams' residence in Eastman.

The funeral will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman with the Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Cottondale Cemetery.
