Funeral services for Mrs Margaret Ann Falkner Rainwater, 76, Vernon, were held at 2 pm Sat from the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Bill Cox and Joseph H Cox assisted by Willett Black of Millport and Norman Parrish of Vernon were the officiating ministers.
Interment was in the family lot at Shiloh Pinhook Cemetery with Brocks Brown Service of Vernon.
Mrs Rainwater the widow of Raymond Redus Rainwater was the daughter of the only survivor of the late Mr and Mrs Isaac Dickson Falkner. She was a granddaughter of the late Judge and Mrs Burrel Falkner.
Mrs Rainwater died Thurs afternoon, Sep 1 at Lamar County General Hospital following a 105 day illness. A native of Lamar County, she was a member of the church of Christ having worshipped with the Christian Chapel congregation for the past twenty years.
She is survived by 4 sons; Dempsey, Warren, Ray, Rex Rainwater; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
