BISHOP, Gertrude, age 91, of Whitell, TN, a former long-time resident of Troy, died October 18, 2011. For many years she was employed as a designer for Romer Flowers and then was employed by Title Source. Beloved wife of Norman, who preceded her in death in 1970. Dearest mother of Judith (Ray) Goforth of Greenville, SC, Gary (Patricia) Bishop of Oxford, Cynthia (David) Keiser of Whitell, TN and Mendi (Mark) Edwards of Troy. Gertrude was the grandmother of eleven, great-grandmother of twenty-five and the expectant great,great-grandmother of one. Also surviving is her brother, Jesse Pingleton. Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Rochester Hills Baptist Church, 3300 S. Livernois Road in Rochester Hills. Visitation Friday 2-8 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester. Memorial contributions in Gertrude's name may be directed to the Rochester Hills Baptist Church Tabernacle Fund.
