Lula Mcgaha Sapp, 95, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, died Monday, Februay 4, 2002 at 2:20 A.M. at the Westlake Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Minnie Burton McGaha, the widow of Rollin Sapp, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and was an employee of Russell and Company for many years. Survivors include three sons, Doug and his wife, Jane Sapp, Donald and his wife, Betty Sapp, all of Columbia and Jimmy and his wife, Patsy Sapp of Carrolton; three daughters, Louise Huddleston of Bowling Green, Margaret Phillips of Alexandria, VA and Patricia and her husband George Kaeding of Carrollton; one brother, Virtis McGaha of Columbia; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son, Avanell Burchett and Charles Edward Sapp. Funeral services will be held today, February 7, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Phillips officiating. Burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to either the Adair County Public Library or Lindsey Wilson College. Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
