"Death Claims Baby Tot
Agnes Myrtle, the infant child of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Strouss, born July 17, 1902 in Walnut, Ill. and died Monday March 30th 1903 at the age of eight months and thirteen days.
Little tot had been ill for nearly a month with whooping cough and other troubles and was not strong enough to endure the complications of dieases, so returned to God who gave her, leaving a lonely place in the hearts of parents and relatives.
The funeral was conducted at the Christian Church Wednesday afternoon, April 1st by Rev. J. R. Golden and the interment made in Walnut cemetery.
Weep no more, O thou mother,
For thy wee little waif,
On the far shore of heaven,
With the angels she is safe!"
