Otego [Otsego Co., NY]: Mrs. Mary Fish died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.G. Cornell, on West Branch Friday evening at eight o'clock at the advanced age of 91 years. Deceased has been a resident of this town nearly all her life as far as the writer knows, at least fifty years. She was a highly respected lady and much loved by her near friends. She was the wife of the late Earl Fish, who died nearly forty years ago. Mrs. Fish is survived by one son, Liberal Fish, who resides at South Dakota, who visited her a few months ago, and the daughter above mentioned; also one sister, Mrs. Kate Barr, of Gilbertsville. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the house, the Rev. C.O. Brown officiating and the remains laid at rest in Evergreen Cemetery.[Otsego Journal, April 27, 1905]
