Chaplin Merrick, a resident of Onondaga Hill for a number of years, died early this morning at his home following a long illness. Surviving is a nephew, Charles Vann Merrick of Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral service will be conducted at the undertaking parlors of Cornell & Clement, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
