ASA L. MERRICK WILL BE BURIED ON SATURDAY

Masonic Services Will Take Place in Oakwood Cemetery Chapel.

Funeral services for Asa L. Merrick, 74, widely known architect, will take place at his home, 3402 Midland avenue, at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Masonic services will be conducted an hour later in the chapel of Oakwood cemetery by Central City lodge, 305, F. and A. M. Mr. Merrick, who died last night, had been in poor health for four years and for a week his condition had been serious.
Mr. Merrick was a member of the firm of Merrick & Randall. He designed many of the city churches and schools and Merrick school was named for him. Though never holding office he was one of the Republican leaders in th county organization. He was a 32d degree Mason and a member of the Citizens club.
Surviving are a brother, Chapman Merrick of this city, and a nephew, Charles Van of Cleveland.
