Helen M. Hayes, 82, formerly of 122 W. Seneca Turnpike,Syracuse,died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital.
She retired in the late 1970s as a volunteer at the Rescue Mission. She also was a volunteer at the Onondaga Health Center. She was a member of South Presbyterian Church.
Survivors: Friends, Marion Seymour, Bertha VanAmber and Paul W. Cobb, all of Syracuse.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial, 10 a.m. Monday at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hour, 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse.
