Mrs. Lessie Mae Edge Johnson, 92 of Soperton, died Friday, November 4, 2011. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Gillis Edge; her husband, William Clay Johnson; and three children, Wimufred Norfleet, Frances Hall, and Alfred Notfleet. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Virginia Denmark, of Lyons, Kenneth Norfleet, Benneth Norfleet, Ollie Norfleet, and Dorine Hutcheson, all of Soperton; a sister, Bessie Dubberly, of Vidalia; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Edmond Chapel Cemetery, Toombs County.
