Mabel S. Sather, 83, of Mondovi, died Tuesday morning, April 3, 1990 at the American Lutheran Home, Mondovi.
She was born June 19, 1906 in Dover Township, Buffalo County, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Wulff) Lee. She married Theodore Sather on April 17, 1927, in Dover Township. She spent most of her life in the Lookout area, where she was a member of Lookout Lutheran Church, the Dover Homemakers Club, Gilmanton American Legion Auxiliary, and served as a 4-H leader.
Survivors include a son, Myron, Mondovi; a daughter, Lois Balk, Alma; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Myron Lee, Hudson; and a sister, Esther Brown, Menomonie.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lookout Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Merill Herder officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
