Mrs. Lettie Lucille Lanker, died at her home, 502 E. Findlay Street, Saturday moring at 5:02 o'clock following an illness of several months.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Goff Funeral Home. The Rev. Wade H. Koons, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officated and burial in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Darwin Morrison of Tower Hill, Ill.; D. J. Frazier, J. F. Dible, Wallace Dible, Hearl Dible, and Russell Lanker.
Mrs. Lanker was the daughter of Jacob and Alma (Shaw) Ackerman. She was born December 7, 1886 in Wyandot County and was aged 57 years, 7 months and 19 days at the time of her death. She resided in this vicinity all of her life.
On June 30, 1903, she was married to Willilam Lanker, who survives with four children: Miss Mayme Lanker and Miss Jean Lanker at home, Mrs. Bernard Jacob of W. North street and Ralph Lanker, a member of the U.S. Navy stationed at Galveston, Texas. A son Gail Lanker was fatally injured in an auto racing accident in Detroit on July 29, 1936. There are three grandchildren. Surviving also are two brothers, Ira Ackerman of Missouri and Emmet Ackerman of Marion.
Mrs. Lanker was a member of Crawford Methodist church.
