My great-uncle, Edmond Mitchell Hudlow, was the eleventh child of William Wright Hudlow and Eliza Jane GAROUTTE Hudlow. He was the brother to my grandmother, Amanda Ullman HUDLOW Arnold, and the twin brother to Clint Hudlow, and one of fourteen children. He went by the name of "Ed".

Uncle Ed was the grandson of William Beaver Hudlow and Margaret WILLIAMS Hudlow and of maternal grandparents, Isaac Garoutte and Martha Jane SMITH Garoutte.

On October 19, 1927, Uncle Ed married Clella Alene MAY, daughter of Jess May and Melissa Ellen FOX May. They were blessed with several children who included Cammie Merlene, Pauline Geree, Paul Eldon, Delbert Oliver, and Robert Lowell Hudlow.

My own uncle, brother to my father, was named Clint Edmond in honor of great-uncle Ed Hudlow and his twin brother, great-uncle Clint Hudlow.

Uncle Ed was preceded in death by his parents, several of his siblings, and one son.

Some of his survivors included his wife, children, many, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and a host of other family memebers and friends.

He is very much loved and missed by his family and all who knew him.
