Winslow - Christine S. Strack, a former school teacher, died Thursday at Winslow Memorial Hospital. She was 76. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. S.J. Gollery and officers of Eastern Star, Ruby Chapter No. 3, officiating. Chapel services and interment will be Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pender, Neb.
Mrs. Strack was born April 17, 1903 is Velke Hoste Hradky, Czechoslovakia. She later moved to Nebraska and to Winslow in 1941. She was an instructor in the Winslow Public Schools until her retirement in 1965. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; Wisner Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star of Wisner, Neb.; the Arizona Education Association; and the American Association of Retired Persons. Her husband, William H. Strack, preceded her in death September 27, 1979.
She is survived by a brother, Frank Sedlacek, Nickerson, Neb.; three sisters, Bessie Stammer, Bancroft, Neb.; Mildred Grothe, Tekamah, Neb., and Ann Valder, Omaha, Neb.
