2nd wife of Sandford Kennedy - married to Arcain Elizabeth Ann BLACK December 18, 1873, Clay County, Alabama.

Arcain was born July 1842 in Fayette County GA.

There is a document from Mrs. A.E. Kennedy dated 25 Sep 1913 requesting a widower's pension for her husband's service in the Civil War.

Died after 1913

I show her buried in Hughes Springs Cemetery; however, I have no real proof of her burial in this cemetery. Her parents and husband Sandford are buried in this cemetery. If there is a person out there that knows for sure Arcain is buried at Hughes Springs, please let me know. It certainly stands to reason that she is buried in this cemetery.
