Mrs. Mary Eileen Gray a resident of Decatur until she moved to E. Chicago, Ind, about nine years ago died in an E.Chicago hospital at 7 pm Monday. She was 40 years old.
She was born in Kentucky April 17,1897 and was married about 10 years to Horace Gray. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist church in Decatur.
She leaves her husband and four children, Miss Texie Barnett of Decatur and May Nell Gray and Herbert and Horace Gray Jr, of E. Chicago. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Mattie Jackson of Decatur and a brother, Jessie Barnett of Decatur.
The body will be brought to Decatur with burial in Greenwood cemetery.
