Paralysis, from which she had been suffering for the past month, caused the death of Mrs. Isabel Coonrod, widow of the late Francis M. Coonrod, last Friday afternoon about two o'clock. Her death occurred at the home of her son, Lemuel Coonrod, six miles north of Monticello, where she had made her home since the death of her husband.
Mrs. Coonrod was eighty-two years years of age and was born in Crawford County, Ohio, in March 1840. She moved to White County in the spring of 1873 and since that time has made this county her home. One year she spent with her son, Frank Coonrod, in Marionm Ohio. Her husband passed away two years ago. Mrs. Coonrod has been a member of the Cu?? Creek Christian church for many years.
Mrs. Coonrod was the mother of two sons, Frank Coonrod of Marion, Ohio, and Lemuel Coonrod of this county, one sister, Mrs. Mary Marshall of ??cyrus, Ohio, also survives. The funeral was held from the Coonrod home Sunday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. Elvin Daniels of the Christian church officiating. interment was made in Riverview Cemetery
