Hattie Cornelia [Boulton] Andrews Organ was born November 12, 1866, the daughter of Napoleon Bonaparte Boulton and wife Lucy Jane [Williams] Boulton. Hattie was raised in Wilson Co., TN. She married first to Alexander Samuel Andrews, a school teacher in Smith & Wilson Counties, TN. The marriage took place in Smith Co. on July 30, 1882. Shortly after her marriage, she moved back to A.S. Andrews' home town of West, Holmes Co., MS, where the her two oldest children were born; namely, Mary Otheldra [Andrews] Smith (b. August 3, 1884) and Boyd Kelley Andrews (b. July 3, 1885). The family moved back to Tennessee in c1888, where the next two children were born: Alfred Ernest Andrews (b. July 28, 1888, Jackson Co., TN) and Earl Lester Andrews (b. 1894, Wilson Co., TN).
Hattie remarried on February 3, 1894, Wilson Co., TN, to widower Samuel Franklin Organ. Their children were:
Samuel Cecil Organ, b. 1896
Rev. Sampson Dewey Organ, b. 1898
Charles Raymond Organ, b. 1900
Chester Arthur Organ b. 1901
Iona Jane Organ, b. 1905

Hattie died at her home on Cole Avenue, Lebanon, on August 29, 1951. Her funeral was conducted by the Seagraves Funeral Home, and she was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery on August 31, 1951.
