Carl Hines Ashley was the son of Luther Madison Ashley and Minnie Lee (Hines) Ashley. He was married to Edith Fay Ashley on August 17, 1935. He was survived by two Daughters Shirley Smith and Joyce Meredith; and two sons Kenneth Ashley and Roger Ashley.
