Woman, ex-spouse dead in Bellevue
A woman and her former husband were found shot to death in his apartment at 825 156th Ave. N.E., Bellevue, shortly after 10:30 p.m. yesterday in what apparently was a murder-suicide.
Mrs. Mary Frances Baugh, 38, of 2625 166th Ave. S.E., Bellevue, was shot three times in the neck and chest, Bellevue police said.
Richard W. Baugh, 45, a machine-shop superintendent, suffered a single head wound.
The medical examiner's office said that Baugh and his wife had been separated for some time, but the divorce was final last week.
Detective Sgt. Garnett Arcand said a .38-caliber pistol was found beside the bodies and that a preliminary investigation indicated Baugh shot his former wife and then himself.
