Mrs. Bettie Lawrence, age 59, passed away Sunday, December 1st , at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. James Townsend, of West Blocton, Ala., after a long period
of illness.
She leaves to mourn her going four daughters, Mrs. James Townsend, West
Blocton, Ala., Mrs. Elbert Weaver, West Blocton, Ala., Mrs. Arthur Hall,
Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. H. A. Stanley, Maylene, Ala.; four sons, Mr. Frank
Lawrence, West Blocton, Ala., Mr. Mike Lawrence, Broomfield, Colo., Mr. Louis
Lawrence, Denver, Colo., and Mr. Aussie Lawrence, South Alabama; three
sisters, Mrs. Carl Dyer, West Blocton, Ala., Mrs. Fred Thrasher, West Blocton,
Ala., and Mrs. H. H. Dill, Birmingham, Ala.

Services For Mrs. Bettie Lawrence
Mrs. Bettie Lawrence, age 58, passed away Sunday, December 1st , at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. James Townsend on Smith Hill. She is survived by four
daughters, four sons and two sisters.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 3rd at Mt. Carmel Church
with the Rev. Rich Henderson officiating. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery
with Collins in charge.
