.. Cyclone - Charles Cush Brown, 79, died in a Man hospital Monday evening of an apparent heart attack. Born April 3, 1896, at Cyclone, he was a son of the late Wannie and Mary Brown. He was a retired engineer for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad.

.. Survivors include his wife, Maye Perry Brown; three sons, Wannie and Percy, both of Cyclone, and Sgt Charles R., stationed with the Army in Germany; four daughters, Mrs Vivian McGuire of Roseville, Mich., Mrs Berniece Thompson of Landville, and Mrs Crisalene Cook and Mrs Linda Overton, both of Cyclone; one brother, Teddy of Mallory; three sisters, Mrs Iva Brown of Cyclone, Mrs Ruth Steele of West Hollywood, Fla., and Mrs Essie Bailey of Mallory, and eight grandchildren.
.. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Campus Church of God with Rev Chelsie Noel and Rev Boyd England in charge. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Cyclone.
