D.J. was born March 28, 1933 in Stone County, Mo. to Ossie & Effie Pendergraft Morris.
He had lived in the Joplin area most of his life.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He worked for ALL-COMM Business Systems, Inc. for over 20 years as a service technician, retiring in 1995.
He married Joyce I. German She preceded him in death June 5, 1998.
Father of Darrell W. Morris and his wife, Cathy, Debra Durbin and her husband, Randy, Judy Craven and her husband, Eddie, Mark Morris and his wife, Debbie, Paul Morris and his wife, Denise, and Mary McDaniel and her husband, Randy.
Brother of Louise Alsup, Erma Bookout, Dallas Morris (Deceased), and Donald Morris.
