He was born June 6, 1942 to Earnest L. and Mary Rebecca Jane (Page) Carder in Maybelle District Oklahoma near Welch, and had lived in Craig and Ottawa Counties all his life.
He worked in farming and maintenance and was a member of the Southeast Baptist Church of Commerce.
Survivors: 2 brothers: Lloyd Carder of Afton, OK, and Don Carder of Miami, OK, 2 sisters: Velma Perry of Miami, OK, and Mable Allman of Commerce, OK, a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Jerry Von Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Timber Hill Cemetery west of Miami under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 3-4 at the funeral home. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.
