Rose was born on October 16, 1914 in Au Gres, MI. Rose married Arthur Siewert on November 21, 1936, at St. Paul's Lutheran in Stevensville, MI and they were married for 70 years until Arthur's death on March 5, 2007. For most of her life Rose and her husband worked on the family farm. Rose was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid at St. Paul's and for many years would help collect money for March of Dimes. Rose and Art spent their winters in Leesburg, Florida, at the Chain of Lakes Trailer Park. During her life, Rose loved playing cards, especially, with her pinochle club. She truly loved spending time with her family and friends, but mostly with her grandchildren.
